EXODOS Copenhagen Leathercraft

EXODOS - Greek for "exit" - was founded by Cypriot craftsman George Koutsoftas and Danish co-founder Birgitte Arhnung. The name reflects our journey: taking the timeless simplicity and functionality of Danish design traditions and carrying it beyond Denmark, into a Mediterranean workshop in Cyprus.

Every EXODOS creation is a handcrafted expression of that heritage - wet-molded, hand-stitched, and crafted from full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather, made to last.

WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE WITHIN THE ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME?

Yes - since each piece is handcrafted especially for you, please allow about 15 business days before it ships. From there, delivery follows your chosen shipping method's typical timeframe. We provide tracking so you always know where your order stands, and while we can't control occasional carrier delays, we're happy to help if you have any questions.

WILL I HAVE TO PAY CUSTOMS OR IMPORT FEES IN THE US?

No. For orders shipped to the United States, all applicable import duties, tariffs and taxes are included in the price you pay. We ship using Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), which means these charges are prepaid by us before your order reaches the United States. You will not be asked to pay additional import charges upon delivery.

WILL I HAVE TO PAY CUSTOMS OR IMPORT FEES WITHIN THE EU?

No import customs duties for customers because the goods are shipped from within the EU.

WILL I HAVE TO PAY CUSTOMS OR IMPORT FEES IN OTHER COUNTRIES?

Local import duties, taxes, or customs fees may apply depending on the destination country.

RETURNS LEATHERCRAFT POLICY

We offer a a ‘30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee’ on all leathercraft accessories that have not be custom sized or personalized - if you are not satisfied for any reason.
For a refund, the item must be carefully wrapped and show no sign of usage. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs and any VAT or customs added to the package when shipped back to Cyprus. Original shipping fee will not be refunded.

HOW DO I TAKE BEST CARE OF MY LEATHER ACCESSORY?

Taking care of a dyed vegetable-tanned leather accessory properly will ensure it ages beautifully and lasts for years.

Dust & Dirt Removal: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth or a slightly damp cloth if needed.

Avoid Water Exposure: If your pouch gets wet, let it air dry naturally at room temperature—don’t use heat sources like hair dryers.

Use a Leather Protector: Every few months, apply a leather conditioner or preferably a beeswax-based cream to protect and prevent drying of the leather.


DELAYED AND UNCLAIMED PACKAGES

Delivery dates are estimates, and while we monitor every shipment closely, delays caused by shipping carriers are unfortunately outside our control — so we're unable to offer refunds or replacements for late deliveries.
If a package goes unclaimed and is returned to us, we're happy to resend it — we just kindly ask that you cover the return shipping cost in that case.
